Existing users of Thrane & Thrane’s Aero-HSD+ system can easily upgrade to AVIATOR 700 by: - for four channel system configurations add the new Swift Broadband Unit (SBU) and SBU to SDU Interface Activation
- for five channel system configurations replace their High Speed Unit (HSU), with the new Swift Broadband Unit (SBU), and SBU to SDU Interface Activation
By taking advantage of this upgrade, users will have access to 1 cockpit data channel, 2 classic Aero-H+ channels (voice/ fax/ data) and 1 SwiftBroadband channel, which includes an additional dedicated low-cost, high-quality voice channel. AVIATOR 700 is compact, lightweight and provides business, VIP, and military aircraft, with access to an extensive range of services and features such as:

 Cockpit voice dialing from MCD
- Cockpit data channel
- Interface to ACARS etc.
