1981  Foundation by Lars and Per Thrane, two brothers. First product is a radiotelex modem for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mid-1980s Focus shifts to mobile satellite communication. It’s decided to start developing maritime satellite terminals targeting the Inmarsat system.
Early 1990s Launch of the systems business area with manufacturing and selling of Inmarsat-C land earth stations. Start up of landmobile and aeronautical business areas.
2001 Listing on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
2003 Acquisition of US company LandSea Systems Inc.(today: Thrane & Thrane Inc.).
2004 Acquisition of Danish company Eurocom Industries A/S (today: Thrane & Thrane Aalborg).
2004 Opening of regional sales office in Shanghai (China)
2006 Acquistion of Norwegian company Nera SatCom (today: Thrane & Thrane Oslo).
2008 Opening of regional sales office in Singapore.
2009 Acquisition of Swedish company Naval Technologies (today: Thrane & Thrane Malmoe)
